Hi,
Can anyone throw a lite, I want to make a program that simulates the movement of a little rectangle over an area which has other fixed boxes(not moving) using Java Application not applet. I've seen this in applets but this case i want to make using application. A code burn may be neccessary.
Thanks

You can make a class that runs as a standalone program or an applet. Just add a main() method, have it create an instance and call, um, whatever the browser calls when it starts an applet. So, building a standalone implementation should be almost identical to creating an applet implementation. Now, I've never done this myself. Holler if it works!

Javas,
Welcome to Javaranch! We don't have too many rules around here but we do have a Naming Policy. Please adjust your display name accordingly.
You can change your display name here.
Thanks. We look forward to having you around.
