hi , just wondering , is java support side bar menu (don't know exact named)like common menu in .net studio IDE, (also seen in ItelliJ IDEA 4.0) means when we mouseover the side bar, it come out menu ..hope your can understanding my question and sorry for don't know exact name of it thank you !
Not as part of the standard Swing library. You may be able to find a component that does what you want, but you'll have to spend a bit of time looking around on the Internet for GUI widget libraries.
You may want to take a look at a product we developed call JIDE Docking Framework. With it you can easily create an application similiar to Visual Studio .NET or Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
