Hi,

I am one of the winners of the Dec. 11 BookPromo - Java Programming Cookbook by Herb Schildt.

I noticed that from a long time, there have been no updates for that book here - http://faq.javaranch.com/java/BookPromotions2007Winners
I was wondering - what's up with the book? I don't mean to sound selfish, it's just that I'm curious

Thanks!

Oh, I just noticed - has the book been redirected for use with the Fundraiser? http://www.javaranch.com/fundraiser.jsp

If so, then it's a wonderful thing

No, the books weren't meant to be re-purposed for the fundraiser. You should still be eligible to receive your winning copy. We'll do a little investigation to see what's up with that.

Rohan,
Ulf is correct that the fundraiser is separate. I'll follow up with McGraw-Hill.

Rohan,
I've sent you some more detail on the status by e-mail.

I think I'll just lie down here for a second. And ponder this tiny ad:
