My application requires a display setting of at least 1024 X 768.
Is there a way to set the system screen size if it is not currently set to that value. I thought there would be something in the default toolkit that does this but I couldn't find anything.

You can't set the screensize without doing some native calls which will get messy and complicated (unless there is a library available that you can use to do this - try google). The burning question is "Why does your app REQUIRE a certain screensize?"

Actually, you can do this with the Full-Screen Exclusive Mode API added in 1.4... some of the examples presented in that link show how.

If your application isn't built to be full-screen exclusive, then I would follow Brian's advice and fix whatever problem that causes your application to require a specific display size.
