I've this code:

and have a few Qs:
When i click the top left app bar icon, it turns gray.
Why?
If i use this code
with a transparent icon, when the app shows up, in javalookandfeel, it appears as not transparent(background is gray!!!).
Why?
thanks in advance

Hi Miguel,
I have played a bit with setting the frames icon and found that they would be reprocessed by the windows software to fit a certain sized square. I did not check for transparency but presumably windows will fit it to its style. I don't know whether there is much you can do about that, but someone else might have a better idea!

i have an image with transparency as the app image, and it shows up correctly in windows (with active background in the transparent parts when window is active; with inactive backgroudn in the transparent parts when window is inactive). I set it pretty much the same way.
maybe double-check to make certain the image IS transparent??

maggie:
this only happens to me when i use the java look and feel, because if i use the default one (looking like windows apps) then the transparency shows up...
BTW, tx to all who answered!
