Well, in my *completely* unbiased, professional opinion, I'd have to
say that The Swing Tutorial by Kathy Walrath et. al is the superior book.

Thanks Sharon.

One more question.
Do you discuss design issues related with Swing programming?
Thanks in advance.

As Kathy mentions in the The The Book and the "Proper" Way thread, this book doesn't really cover
the "right" way to write an app. This will be addressed but not in the
immediate future. As Kathy said, stay tuned on javadesktop.org.

if you are looking for design, read some design patterns book (very boring, i agree) but try to apply them in your design. Do not overdo this, but in the end you will see that your app is maintainable.
To be fair, the book is on swing, not on design. But from experience, the tutorial is very extensive and very good. I hope the book is as good.

Alan Cooper's book on UI design About Face is well worth reading. There's a newer version out too that I haven't read but suspect it would be as good if not better than the original.
It's not Swing specific - but it does discuss good designs/bad designs for application interfaces that can be implemented in most languages/frameworks.
