Hi,
Please tell ,how can i display Hindi charecters in Menu items ,Text boxes in linux platform (Redhat 7.1) . Which Font i have to use ?
I displayed menu items in Hindi in Windows platform ,where i set the font as Arial unicode.

jdk1.4 supports Hindi.
when i entered corresponding unicode charecters for Hindi ,Menu items and text boxes showed Hindi .
Previuosuly i was trying with jdk1.3

Hi Manoj,

Actually, it is just a matter of having a font which supports the Hindu Unicode characters. Even with JDK 1.3, you should be able to support display of Hindi characters if you set the font of the component to a Hindi Unicode supporting font (e.g. Devnagri).
