I want to open a lotus notes document(mails, documents) from a java application (preferably clicking a link on a Swings UI).

I am able to invoke the same from an HTML Webpage: if I provide the Protocol://database/document Identifier inside the <a HREF> tag.
for example:
<a HREF="Notes://InMumM02/65256DFF004A3160/38D46BF5E8F08834852564B500129B2C/1508F5E183573D7C65256E88000A93B8">mymail</a>

When i tried to invoke the notes at "Notes://InMumM02/65256DFF004A3160/38D46BF5E8F08834852564B500129B2C/1508F5E183573D7C65256E88000A93B8" from a java application using class.
I get " protocol:notes". The java API is unable to parse the Notes protocol.

This is because:
When you construct a URL object, Java looks for a protocol handler that understands the protocol part of the URL such as "http", "mailto". If no such handler is found, the constructor throws a MalformedURLException. The exact protocols that are supported by Sun's are :file ,ftp ,gopher ,http and mailto .

I need a solution with some sample code to implement the same(i.e to invoke/open a lotus notes document (mails, documents) from a java application ).
Please let me know if you find any solution regarding this.
