As indicated in a couple of other topics, the upgrade to the new server caught us a bit by surprise. While we all love the newly speedy Saloon, this means that some of functionality hasn't been migrated to the new machine, and won't be for a few more days. Missing are:
the Search page
the RSS feeds
the Watch page
While they all seem to work fine, they won't pick up any posts made after the move (which happened on 2/21/08). So if you rely on the Watch feature notifying you about replies to posts, right now it won't.
The server migration has now been mostly completed - we think. There may still be some details to fix. It looks like the RSS feed isn't getting new posts yet; we'll look into that. Please let us know if you spot anything else not working the way it used to. [ March 05, 2008: Message edited by: Jim Yingst ]
Jim - Assuming you are based in the US, has restoring this functionality been keeping you awake all this while?
Not to sound like your grandmother, but what you should be doing is catching some Zzzzz
Thank you for all your efforts.

Not at all, I just got an email from Paul Little who did all the work. Then I tested a few things. Didn't take much effort from me. I'm about to turn in, but I often wake during the night, and post here before going to sleep again.

Yes, Jim's a slacker. He goes to sleep when everybody else around me is getting fired up and ready to roll
But seriously, the moderators are dispersed over multiple timezones and continents, which means I can pick up where Jim left off (and am refreshed after a good night's sleep).
So, the RSS problem is fixed, and I saw a bunch of Watch notifications go out. Everything should be working now, just (hopefully) faster than before.
