Hi guys,

In jdk 1.2.2 and later we have SwingUtilities.invokeLater(Runnable) utilitity, which we can use to delay the execution of a particular instruction so that it is executed only when the event dispatch thread has compeleted the execution of all other instructions. This is a very handy utility and works well for my gui stuff made of swing/awt.

Now the problem is that is there any such tool/utility in jdk 1.1.8 implemention ??

Thanks in Advance

I don't think so. I don't believe Swing was part of 1.1.8 (it was a seperate download until Java 2). And there isn't a method like that in the AWT API.
