I have a table model that fetches data on a seperate thread. Once the data is fetched, the table is notified through one of the fire-series methods of the AbstractTableModel.
So far, so good.
The problem is when an error occurs fetching data. I maintain an error object that holds the error message/exception. I clear up the model. But how do I indicate to the JTable that it needs to lookup if there has been an error before it does anything else.
More specifically: is it OK to override the tableChanged() method? Is it an accepted practice to do this?
I am extending JTable. That offers me a lot of flexibility. So, feel free to assume
Thanks in advance and Regards, Praveen.
