Does SWT/JFace have classes for MDI applications. Basically a JInternalFrame and JDesktopPane equevillent? And if so, does the book cover this?

MDI is on the Eclipse TODO list. The book talks about a class called Decorations, which CAN be used for MDI, but not terribly effectively. This class was not intended to be released into the wild, but somehow got out

The book also talks about using a tabbed interface instead of MDI, and shows examples of how to do that.

That's interesting. I don't come across a whole lot of MDI's much more. Seems like they used to be more popular but most apps have gone to a tabbed folder/pane type of interface instead.

Thanks.
