Hello,

Is there anyway to rotate a cell in a JTable so that it is 90 degrees(pointing straight up)? Also I was wondering is it was possible to lock a column and a row(one or the other or both) in a JTable so that if you scroll it does not move. I don't expect to get a textbook of info back on the matter, but if someone could point me to a tutorial I would appreciate it.

Thank you

If you look at the Java Tutorial: How to use Tables, you'll see an example on using custom cell renderer and editor classes to display information as a combo box. Read that example and all have to do is make a GUI component to display text at a 90 degree angle.
As for locking a column or row, there's examples of that here.
