how to send a window message("Working wait") from a JFrame while is working?

I'm working with a JFrame, reading records from a Table I'm using a DAO, and while it is working I need to send a window message saying to user that must to wait until the work finish. I have a JDialog tha implements Runnable(), any way I can see the window, but it like frezee.

Somebody can help me?

Use two threads. one thread will call this dialog, while the other thread will do the processing. Once the second thread is done with processing, it invokes the first thread to hide the dialog.

Shashank Agarwal Thanks for your answer, I did that test with both threads, but I had the same problem, maybe I need something else, do you want to see my code, maybe you can help me. or if you have an example with two threads, I will be happy to solve this problem with your help.
