How useful are the model classes provided by Swing especially when the application been built has it's own business model code?
It seems a little odd that you can have 2 different models in the one application as there would have to be some mapping between the model for the view and the model representing the business reality. the bridge seems like a hack as it has no place in an application that wants to be a MVC application.

all comments welcome. regards
