Forms+Validation Using GUI  RSS feed

Hi, I am a newbie to java programming, my tutor asked me to try making a form using GUI and validate the textfields. Somebody help me please, I really don't know what to do, especially codes...what to use... Thank you very much pros...I need guidance.

Well... this isn't a trivial task. The best way to learn how to write a GUI with some form validation -- is to do exactly that -- learn how to do it. Check out this tutorial from sun (they've got others too -- just do a search). Hopefully that will get you started with how to even go about making a UI.

Honestly though... your "tutor" should be able to point you in a more appropriate direction, if all they said was to create a GUI without giving you any background on how to do it... you might want to get a new tutor.
