Does anyone know of a good way to visually/graphically display the content model of a dtd?(basically its a regular expression).

I need to keep the cardinality, groupings, and somehow display the "or vs and" relationships.

something like:

but I need to display it in a tree or something graphical, so that its easier to understand the relationships. I'm thinking it belongs in a tree or graph.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Well if this is ever of interest to anyone else. The best thing I've been able to come up with is a tree structure+ custom icons to denote cardinality, and each parenthetical grouping getting a new node with a name distinguishing it as either a list of choices(or), or just a sequence (commas/ands).

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
