Hi,

I have a developed a JDialog and a JFrame. A button on the dialog invokes the JFrame but this frame does not work propely. It behaves as if its been disabled none of button on the frame works and even the window buttons also do not work. Its just gets stuck in the to left hand corner of the screen . I think it problem is with a JFrame being a child of the JDialog. I do not how to break this. If any one can please mail me.

For the beginning it would be a good start to let us know more about your code, even paste here the important snippets.

possibly, if you have the Dialog's modal set to true, it's not allowing
anything else to have the focus
