Thanks Scott. It was awesome having you around. I hope you choose to visit us on a regular basis. Your insight into the Rich Client Desktop could be real valuable around these parts.

Thanks, I enjoyed my week. Btw, the book and the sample chpater should officially be available online sometime this week. The PDF formatter for my book had a death in the family last week which delayed things.

I'll try to keep an eye on the JavaRanch forums. Just a suggestion, an rss feed of recent posts would be helpful to keep people aware of questions posted.

Yeah, that's one of those popular requests that UBB just won't do. The new software will though, when/if we ever find time to get it done.

Awesome! I was actually trying to reference something from the forums, and just happened to roll on by, and saw my name. I was completely suprised.

It was nice having you around Scott, I love the Ranch!

Edit: Wow, seems like there are specific topics discussed in Java Desktop Live that I have been eager to dive into. Actually, its exactly what i have been aiming for.

Glad you like the topics. I'm looking forward to adding deployment, communications, and testing in the coming months.
