I have a SWING application which runs perfect (all screen display) on WIN 2K. I upgraded to WinXP and now some of screens get all messed up in display.

Why SWING application behaves differently on WIN XP?
Is there special patch for XP?

Thanks in advance

There is a patch. It's called "Use A Layout Manager". Chances are you have components that are set absolutely using setBounds on null layouts. Different windows managers (2K, XP, Gnome, KDE) interpret and repesent pixel and font sizes differently. The best way to avoid this type of situation is to always use layout maanagers.
