Hey all..

How does one move to a Bartender status. I read the article which describes when and how one moves from one status to another.

But my question is who decides and on what basis. when does that happen..

The answer to the former was that once has to be decent.. but after going through the posts i noticed that everybody is decent. so confused. Can someone please elaborate

Does it take a long time once a member is in Greenhorn status..

Please advise..

The Council of 32 meet in secret, performing ancient rituals and casting bones to determine when the time is right. Once they decide on the moment, the trials of combat begin. Each existing bartender is allowed to champion someone, and enters the arena with their protege's photo tattooed on his or her chest.

The council has secretly determined the number of new bartenders, and the combat begins until there are only that mystery number left standing.

Those lucky few are then invited. The smart ones run away quickly, and the dimmer ones take up the mantle, and the circle repeats itself, over and over, throughout eternity...

It helps to have posted more than 17 times (at last check), although volume alone isn't enough, especially if the posts are in the Meaningless Drivel forum.

Don't tell them about the initiation rites for new bartenders, Scott.

You mean the part where they have to read and memorize every message in meaningless driven, including the word association thread?

It's actually not as bad as Fred describes it. Due to the policy on screen names, many kombatants, such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden, were all disqualified.

I fainted three times when they were tattoing Freds face on my chest. It was worth it though.
