Hi,
I have a little problem with NetBeans and code which is generated from this tool for GUI components (NetBeans 4.1).

I made a template of a GUI class which extends my special base class (FormBase extends JPanel) (I made this template by copy files for JPanel template to the correct directory). I did it and it works. I can put some swing controls, I see them and the code is generated correctly.

Unfortunatelly, I want to make initComponents method protected - not private as NetBeans propose. So, I've changed java file of the templete for this qualificator - in NetBeans is not allowed. When I generate a new class - it works - I have private initComponents. When I switch between design and code several times 'protected' changes to 'private' again.

I think, there is a place where all this settings are kept but I don't know where. Do you have any idea or some link to some good documents?

Thx,
Kinga

A little mistake in the previous text:
When I generate a new class from my changes template I have PROTECTED initComponents.
