I'm looking for a Swing widget that displays an HTML file. I don't need something real fancy, but support for CSS would be great. Also looking for something open source.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Landon

(When loading a file in my application I want to display a simple html file describing the file the user has selected in the chooder dialog.....)

The javax.swing.JEditorPane class can display HTML (and RTF) files. It supports HTML 3.2 (no CSS, no JS).

Depending on your needs you might look at the JDIC project's browser component. Commercially WebRenderer is a pretty good package.
