For any business logic developed in a J2EE architecture, which is better to develop?? A Swing client that accesses the business logic Vs A web front end (JSPs/Struts) accessing the business logic? I really don't get why some clients are still using Swings? Are there really any prominent advantages for Swings over frontends like JSPs??
The users where I work don't like the jsp/struts interface. They don't like waiting for another page to load to be able to add a record, they want to be able to add it to a blank line at the bottom of the table, etc. They much prefer the GUI interface of Swing.
