For any business logic developed in a J2EE architecture, which is better to develop??
A Swing client that accesses the business logic Vs A web front end (JSPs/Struts) accessing the business logic?
I really don't get why some clients are still using Swings?
Are there really any prominent advantages for Swings over frontends like JSPs??

Thanks.

There are things that desktop applications can do that web browsers just can't do.

The users where I work don't like the jsp/struts interface. They don't like waiting for another page to load to be able to add a record, they want to be able to add it to a blank line at the bottom of the table, etc. They much prefer the GUI interface of Swing.
