Hello,

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place here, but i was wondering if anybody has any experience or thoughts about linking java applications with more graphic design packages such as Flash? Can this be achieved, is it hard etc? I've written a small distributed database application entirely in java, and using Swing has been great. However, on my front page i want a bit more wow factor and interactivity than i am able to achieve in Swing (probably because my programming isn't up to scratch!). Having used flash before for web design and presentations is there any reason why i can't use it as a navigation page for a java application? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

After some web browsing i have found topics of discussion to include:

- Macromedia Flex (MXML)
- JFlashPlayer
- SVG in Java

Anybody have any info, comments on any of the above?

For my next feat, I will require a volunteer from the audience! Perhaps this tiny ad?
