I have to upgrade an old application from Java 1.2.2 to Java 1.3.1. I am particularly concerned about the graphical part (this is a fat client application). What are the steps that I should go through to ensure that nothing "breaks" when moving from the one version of Swing to the next one?
Where can I find a catalog of all the incompatibilities that I have to do coding to work around? Any other hints, things that I should give special care to?

Many thanks in advance,

Panagiotis

Generally Swing releases should be backwards compatible. The docs on Sun's web page contains release notes for each version, and these often detail specific changes made to each package. See http://java.sun.com/docs
