Hello,

I have a table which displays rows of a custom TextAreaRenderer I have. I want to be able to click the button to add a row, and have the user be able to start typing immediately, however, I HAVE tried selecting the row I just added and using the editCellAt command to no avail. The row selects just fine, but for some reason, this component will not edit right away without another click... here is the code for the cell renderer:

If anybody knows why this would happen, or a way around it so that I could simply start typing after selecting the row, it would be a great help. Thanks!

Tom

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
