HTML Content in a JPanel

Hi all,
Is there any way to show html document in a JPanel? Or should i use JTextArea?

You should use a JEditorPane.

I would like to show a HTML document in a JPanel.

private JEditorPane editorPane;

editorPane=new JEditorPane();
try {
                    editorPane.setPage("http://www.javaranch.com");

scrollPane=new JScrollPane(editorPane);
add(scrollPane, BorderLayout.CENTER);

}

I always get "java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: connect" exception. What should i do?
The second question: Is it possible to use

 editorPane.setPage("file://page.html"); 

when i want to use a local file?
