JasperAssistant (http://www.jasperassistant.com) is a visual report designer for JasperReports, a popular open-source reporting engine. It is built on top of the Eclipse's plug-in architecture and its main goal is to assist you in creating JasperReports report definition files through an intuitive graphical interface.

What's new:

  • Support for JasperReports 0.6.7.
  • Support for Eclipse 3.1 milestone releases.
  • Nudge element position actions (Ctrl+Arrows shortcuts)
  • Nudge element size actions (Ctrl+Shift+Arrows shortcuts)
  • Import subreport parameters wizard.

  • Convert static text to text field action.

  • Other minor changes:
    • Multiple drag&drop from the Outline View.
    • Snap to grid on resize behaviour can be configured to match the one in Crystal Reports.
    • Improved Copy&Paste actions.
    • Double-click on subreport parameter opens the expression editor.
    • Copy&Paste support for subreport parameters.
    • Subreport parameters are now always ordered by name in the Outline View.
