Shortcut for Drag/drop re-ordering in a JList?

I'm trying to implement a way for the user to select an item in my JList and drag it up/down to change its location in the list. I think I can see how to do it using the general drag and drop support. However, this seems like a reasonably common operation and I'm wondering if I'm missing a simpler technique for acheiving the same end result?
