This code is part of the new java second edition 6.0.

I have tried searching google but could not find any of its source code.
What i am trying to do is hopefully create a backport for 1.5

Does anyone know where i find the java source code to the above api

Any help is greatly appreciated

Yours Sincerely

The installed JDK normally contains a file named "src.jar" that contains all the Java sources for the APIs.

The thing is i am currently using 1.4.2. I haven't even downloaded 1.6 yet, so i would have to download it and reinstall in on the entire network first befor l;ooking at that code.

Can i download the src.zip alone by itself, do you have the url to it. By the way have you downloaded 1.6 yet??

You can find the JavaDoc, as well as source and binary downloads, at https://mustang.dev.java.net/ (found via Google, by the way).

Don't know about the source code, but for JavaDoc, go to the above mentioned site, click on "HTML" in "Java Docs (JAR | HTML)", scroll down to the "API, Language, and Virtual Machine Documentation" section and click on "Java 2 Platform API Specification".
