Is there any library / tool avaliable to create eye-catching java gui's [can be specific to win32] ? I tried some libs and they are not integrating well with the backend java application. I need some lib which easily integrates to the java backend code?

Is there any gui generators avaliable out there? If so please get me some links.

Thanks
Joe

Hello "Venish Joe"-

Welcome to JavaRanch.

On your way in you may have missed that JavaRanch has a policy on display names, and yours does not comply with it - please adjust it accordingly, which you can do right here. Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you saying you don't like either AWT or Swing, and want to use a different library?
If you're just looking for a GUI builder, check out the "Matisse" module that ships with the NetBeans IDE.

Ulf Dittmer,

Sorry! I missed out that Naming policy. I am unable to edit the message to change the name. Going forward, I'll take care that this won't occur.

Yes, I am looking for some GUI builders. I have some console application which I have to upgrade as GUI application for Windows. I am not good at UI design, so I need some GUI builders where I can build the UI for the application and integrate with the console application which I have already developed.

Thanks
Venish Joe

Joe, you can change the user name by following the link I posted. It's not part of any message you post, it's part of your profile (look for the "My Profile" link at the top of the page).

Did you look at Matisse? Here is a Flash demo --> http://testwww.netbeans.org/kb/41/flash-matisse.html

I recently used it for one personal project, and it was a breeze and outcome was nice. It comes bundled with NetBeans IDE, (and I have heard it is also available with MyEclipse for use with Eclipse IDE). More information is here --> http://www.netbeans.org/kb/50/quickstart-gui.html

Thanks Gagan Indus. I was looking for something like that. The Matisse works like a charm. Thanks a lot.

Thanks
