Printing Help

Can anybody tell me how can i print the contents which are present inside a JTable.

Since this about a JTable rather than a JDBC table, I'm moving the post to our Swing forum.

I don't know a lot about printing, so I had a look in Horstmann's book, where I expected to find something useful.

And, lo and behold, on p375 of vol 2, there it is . . .

private Object[][] cells = {{ . . . }};
. . .
final JTable table = new JTable(cells, columnNames);
. . .
JButton printButton = new JButton("Print");
. . .
printButton.addActionListener( . . .
public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
{
try
{
table.print();
}// end try
catch(PrinterException e)
{
. . .
}// end catch
}// end action performed method

And that's it. It says there is a JTable.print() method but it is only available in J5.0. There are other versions of print(); look in the API.

I think I have tried it in the past and it worked. Try it and see.
