On ending my application from the TaskManager, need to call a function

Hi all,

i have one java application.My requirement is that on ending my application from the TaskManager( by selecting my applicationa and clicking End Process)i need to call a function to unlock certain tables from a database.
i have handled the ctrl+c hit (ie when the user tries to close the console)by adding a shutDownHook.
Is there any nethod in the SystemClass which can be used to handle this.

I would assume that it is _not_ possible to catch signals with your java application. At least there is no way I'm aware of to be notified about the ending of the JavaVM... (?)
