Can you elaborate what you mean by "frame"? That's an HTML concept, not something used with applets.

I want to create a slide show in an applet. I have to design a web interface where the user can create multiple slides, these slides will further contain text/sound content, by frames i meant these slides which will be added in an applet.

Please suggest a way to approach this problem, code snippets, refrence articles, websites etc will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

as Ulf says, the term frame is usually interpreted to mean html frames
that doesn't apply in an applet
the GUI in an applet will be built using either AWT or Swing components
it sounds like you want to use a JSplitPane to split your GUI into two sections(this will look kinda like "frames")
the you can put user controls on one side and display your images on the other
this isn't really applet specific, you'll get more help in the swing/awt forum

Yep, this doesn't sound like it is applet-specific, so it gets moved to the AWT/Swing/SWT/GUI forum. Find it there and continue the discussion.
