JTree or JTable shows up blank?

Howdy folks,

I have a JTable and a JTree that if ran on a slower cpu (ie ram is low) the application will run fine and the JTRee will show up. If run on a faster cpu it seems that every now and then the JTree will show up completely blank. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a threads problem to me.
Check whether you update your tree from a different thread then the dispatch event (AWT) thread. If so, use SwingUtilities or SwingWorker to make sure your update are valid.
