Since this post is about fonts, it's probably a better fit to the topic of the "Swing/AWT/SWT" forum.

The displaying part should be taken care of - it looks like OpenType font support was added in the 1.4.2 JDK. The creating part - you would probably have to do yourself - there are several links on the unicode website about the OpenType format and how to create an OpenType font.
