Hello all,
A previous programmer was using a Look and feel and a project I am working on now. and whenever I add a frame to the project, all the colors of the panels inside this frame are not shown.

Anybody knows how to solve this problem ?

thanks a lot

you've identified the problem as being with the look and feel, which
you have kept secret.

the quality of the responses is directly proportional to the quality of the question.

post a working sample program that demonstartes the problem - we can then see
what L&F, and possibly offer a solution/workaround.

if a 3rd party L&F:
1) try to edit your original post's subject line to include the L&F name
(might get someone's attention that also uses the L&F)
2) see if there is a forum at the L&F's website

hI ,

i think you must set all the colors in you panel explicitly.
coz even a default look and feel set all the color define by it

good luck

I think the problem was because some Panels Transparet option was set to true in the look and feel.

I set it to true, now they are showing correctly but the buttons still have problems.

thanks for your answers.
