Hai,
I have downloaded the JAI Package and i am able to convert the Tiff Image to JPEG. The Application Server i am using is J2EE. I face problems while i am calling it in JSP (With form and Action ). I could not able to view the image in any application until the Server is stopped.
Any help appreciated.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

So you have a JSP page that has an image tag that points to a JPG file which you created by converting a TIFF image and writing it to disk? Is the file properly written to disk? How are you referencing it in the JSP?

Hi,
The file is properly written to disk. I can view it in the folder as thumbnails, but i could not open it until the server is stopped.

Sorry, the problem is in referencing only.
In brief the war file i have created is sample.war. Actually the image is created in F:\Sample\IMAGES\ folder. I referenced it as
<img src="http://20.1.18.124:8080/Sample/IMAGES/image.jpg" >

Is there any other way how to pass the location of the image in JSP.
Thanks.
