Maximizing a window in Java Swing

Dear Ranchers,
I'm doing an application in Java Swing and MySQL. I am running this in Windows XP. In a particular point i want a JFrame to be opened as maximized. for that I'm using the code as below.



When i run this code, I can see the window in maximized, but cannot see the status bar. How can I show the window maximized just above the status bar,

Please help me ranchers

if you mean the task bar, try this

My Problem is solved. It is working fine now..

How can I put an Icon in JFrame..When i tried. it is not working..
It is showing, Java's default icon only!!

Can you please help me to solve. this..

Unless you're using JDK 1.6 or additional libraries, only GIF, JPEG, and BMP images can be loaded as images.
