Following describes the problem I am facing in gui rendering

I want to connect to the electrnic device which is connected to Serial Port on my system.

First I display the list of available serial ports to the user so user can select the port on which he/she has connected the device.

After user clicks the connect button, i want to show progress of communication to the user. I have tried out with JProgressBar and JFrame but getting rendering problem in both of them. I am unable to render the GUI properly while communicating data on serial port.

I am using javax.comm package (comm api) for serial communication.

Please help me to overcome this problem

You already have your own thread to ask your question... please don't pull up old threads. Closing this one.
