Hi,

We developed a site for one of our client using J2EE with Struts and Hibernate.

As per client's request we placed a code verification block.

For this we downloaded source from http://sourcefourge.net/projects/simpleCatcha, which is a Captcha code generator and validator. The code works like this:

1. The page contains an IFRAME with src=Captcha.jpg
2. On page load this Captcha.jpg will be generated from the code and populate into the IFRAME.
3. There will be an hyperlink "New" which is used to refresh the IFRAME to get new code.
4. A text will be available to enter the displayed verification code.
5. While submitting the form the entered code will be validated.

In our Development and Test system every thing works fine. But after placing that code in Production we got some problem with this Captcha block.

Problem:
At the first time the Code is not generating properly. If you refresh the page from then onwards it was generating. This problem is occuring only with Firefox browser only.

As we go through the code, we understood that it was generated using AWT. Thats why I posted this in this group.

> What to do?

1) if the problem is specific to the firefox browser, perhaps a firefox forum
would be the best place to post the problem.

2) post a *very* simple program, so that those here (using firefox) can
copy/paste/compile/run and observe the behavior.
