how to make my frame extendable in linux  RSS feed

hi
i have an application where i am setting the setExtendedState(MAXIMIZED_BOTH);
method . It working fine in windows but when i run the same application in the
linux environment the frame is on extended .how to make the frame extended in linux ,please help

from the javadoc:

Note that if the state is not supported on a given platform, nothing will happen. The application may determine if a specific state is available via the java.awt.Toolkit.isFrameStateSupported(int state) method.


If isFrameStateSupported(MAXIMIZED_BOTH) is true on your linux box then I guess you have found a bug. If not, you can try enlarging the frame by hand.
