Hi All,

I need a help in JCombobox. After selecting a value the combobox will be disabled and no longer editable in my application. But I need to just select TEXT the value of the previous selction from the disabled Combo box.

Can Anyone help me out with this.

Thanks

Are you by any chance getting mixed up with the editable and disabled attributes of the JComboBox?
When a JComboBox is in a non-editable mode, you cannot type into it, but the pop up is still active.
On the other hand when a JComboBox is in a disabled mode, neither can
you type into it nor is the popup active.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the description of both non-editabole and disabled. In my application the Combobox is disabled. I just need to copy the text value of the Selected Item from the disabled combobox.

thanks n regards
