Swing design question
posted 9 years ago
Swing components are conventionally setup in a tree structure and then event listeners are attached to it to manage user interactions.
A |\ B C | |\ D E F
Suppose, node D listens for an event that needs to modify node C which is inaccessible from the scope. What are some approaches to wire up the listeners?
I suppose this requires some vocabulary to abstract out responsibilities and to promote code reuse and maintainability. Any suggested books that addresses this?
