In my swing application when i open the subwindow the main window paint is disturbing. even when i move the sub window, the main window paint is disurbing.
How to keep main window stable from sub windows?
How to convert java swing application files into into single setupfile?

I think this maybe the case, because i once encountered this problem

Whenever we use swing to get any component what the JVM does is it draws that component onto the screen. It may be the case that your system has low configuration in terms of memory or else there may be some other process which gains lots of memory and does not allow JVM to utilize most part of it.This one happened in my case. This may be the case for your frame draw problem.

You cannot create a SETUP files as it will make your program Platform specific.Java application are platform independent where you can create JAR files of your program which behaves like a EXE file under Windows platform.

Hi,

Not to be provocative, Balasubramanian, but you can create setup files - although, you're right of course that they are platform specific.

Surender, if you need to make an installer there are several commercial products - Google 'java installer', I've used Advanced Installer and install4j - both are good, and can build installers for various different platforms. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to do it for free, as well, but I've never done that.

Cheers,
Dave.

Welcome to the Ranch. Not sure I understand the problem, but try setting the double buffered flag to "true" in the constructor of your JPanel or whatever you are painting on. See whether that helps.
