Calendar UI with Multiple selection  RSS feed

Hi Everyone,
I am new to swing application. I wanted to design Calendar with checkboxes for multiple days selection. This calendar should populate based on Year entered.That is., 12 Calendars has to be populated based on the Year and User can select multiple days by checking Checkboxes. How can i approach this..? Please help.

I'd start maybe with a JPanel that has a GridLayout. Then get an instance of a calendar class in which you create more JPanels to represent each day of each month and put this in the grids on the main panel. Add whatever components you need to each day (checkboxes, labels, etc)...

What do you really want here? Have you even tried anything yourself?

I created 12 panels for each month. Now i want to put day and date match which is based on year. Ex: January 1st has to come under Tuesday column for 2008 year. How can i predict this? Please help
