hi to all,

I have developed an application and also made a startup icon, by clicking on the icon the application runs and opens login frame, and after login the application starts. The application uses MS Access ( for the time being and I am planing to change the database to oracle). So, "I want to create a sort of installation wizard". I have no idea about it. Any help will be highly appriciated.

Have you considered tools like:

Install4J
JavaInstaller
GJIntaller
Antigen

There are some others out there.

Hi Edwin,

I have not used them yet. I was trying to make an application in java which when executed will copy the required files in the desired folders. But to set the Database I thought of using batch files. This will be OS specific, and so it is not desirable. Thanks for the links. I will try those now.
