I had some trouble creating editable columns in a JTable, but that was resovled with code from here:
JTable Header

However the ability to edit my column headers has affected my ability to move columns around. i.e. to exchange the position of a column with anothers.

Could anyone shed some light on how i can keep both abilities.

The code below is the modified constructor from JTable Header, the code allows my data to be sorted by clicking on only the first column, it allows editable headers, but will not allow columns to swicth positions.

any thoughts please.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
